How does the latest version of Superchip actually upload its parameters to the ECU? From what I understand its scanner just plugs into the OBD connection and uploads it? IF this is the case, what would keep someone from being able to do this multiple Expeditions for the price of just one?? Is it only capable of burning one prom and that's it?
You got it. Superchips is right on top of that one. You upload the program onto your rig's PCM and it's there until you remove it. Hence, you can only program one at a time.
But, you can install/uninstall on your rig, then install on another anytime you want so there is some flexibility with the tuner.

Can't do it.......I tried. The microtuner saves your original ECU program in memory, and the unit is VIN locked to a specific vehicle. After loading the performance program, the unit cannot tune another vehicle UNLESS it restores the first vehicle's OEM settings.
