oil change

I am a proud owner of a 1995 F-150 XLT, 302 Automatic. It has about 90K miles and is running really well. I'd like to keep it that way. I am curios to know if anyone has heard anything about the possibility of gaining better lubrication if I was to change oil weights? I currently run 10 W30 (factory reccomendaiton). I don't know much about the different weights of oil and what they measure. I am fairly new at this mechanical stuff. Anyone have any input??? thanks... I am looking for any advice pertaining to maintenance that will keep this truck running like it is from here to eternity!

If you have no problem burning oil, 10W-30 will be fine.
My present '94 has 72K on it, I use 10W-30 year round.
My previous '86 had 127k when I sold it, used 10W-30 year round.

Ford has now said that you can use 5-30 if you prefer as it will improve mileage slightly and cause no effects on lubrication
