I’m in the market for a good floor jack, I’m extremely interested in the pro eagle jack. I know most of you will mention the high price Immediately but I don’t mind investing that money. My concern is is it worth it? Does anyone on this forum own one and know someone that does? If so, what are your thoughts? Is it worth the money and are you happy with it??
I've heard from owners of NAPA's better quality floor jacks they're good for general shop duty even in a for-hire garage. Hein-Werner is a robust and long-time known brand but they're made from imported parts so I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much for top-tier brand made of off-shore parts. If there'd be an upside to that brand is support should be available over quite a few years.
I'm impressed that a Harbor Freight jack gets good reviews and has lasted a good long time---for that cost they're throw-away items.
everyone considers HF stuff "throw away items" until the never have to throw it away because it just keeps on working as designed.
current HF stuff is not the chinese garbage it was 25 years ago.

That's good to know and you're right about HF having a reputation for having been throw away stuff. That's on them though and had I ever dealt with such parts I'd be hard pressed to trust that brand again.
Its possible HF found a better cheap supplier of some of their sold items---I'm somewhat impressed with a set of their SAE service wrenches used three times so far---they were just under $70 as I recall, nice hard case part of the deal.
