Ambient lighting
Hi everyone. Just picked up my 2021 Lariat this week. Had a 2019 before. I have not seen the ambient lighting on in the new truck yet and I believe it used to be on all the time in my 2019. Have they changed this on the new 2021 models

Correct you need the Lariat Ultimate Package to get the interior ambient lighting. If you have Lariat Ultimate then the brightness is probably turned down, it's in the center touchscreen settings menu. I think under General, or Vehicle.
As an aside every time I program something with Forscan for some reason the ambient lighting gets turned all the way down (off) in the menu.

Yes you do! It's " Non adjustable Ambient Lighting" as the color choices were removed in 18 MY.

You can adjust the brightness, but yes the Multi-color was dropped in 2018 across all F-series trucks. Bummer. All we get is Ice Blue now. They actually call it "Fixed-Color Ambient Lighting" now in the specifications.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your original question. I thought you were just asking if the King Ranch has the lighting. I actually don't know if there is a way to adjust it, I haven't looked into it. I do know, like already posted by others, that it is 1 fixed color.

I looked into it a little more and found that on your Sync screen, go to settings, then vehicle you should find the ambient light tab. It should then allow you to adjust brightness....that's also what nickshu was saying.
