I have a 2008 F350 LB DRW, with 176000 miles on it. I have modified the following, EGR delete, CAT delete, and DPF delete. Replaced the twin stock turbos with a single turbo. I have it tuned with a SCT tuner. Everything is fine, except the noise on acceleration. It might be cool if I was in my 20's but its annoying, especially when pulling my 38' 5th wheel trailer. I am thinking the original muffler is shot( rusted out) and not doing much good. I am looking at putting a new muffler/resonator on. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with this. I was looking at a MBRP MBM1004A, which is a UNIVERSAL 4" QUIET TONE MUFFLER.
I have also read some threads where guys are doing 2 mufflers back to back to help with the drone. When I get into it, it is loud. Hoping someone can give me some recommendations to help quiet this thing down. Otherwise I'm trading it in, but I really don't want a car payment again. LOL.
