If in wrong thread let me know. I have a 2021 F150 Lariat 502A with the B&O system but it has no bass compared to my 2016. It has a sub behind the rear seat but I don't know where it draws the power from. HAs anyone had issues with this and upgraded or know of a way to without adding an entire amp/sub combo?
The system has protection built in, at what volume level does the bass drop out? The sync 3 would drop bass above level 21 and there was another feature if the sound stage wasn't set for center and the bass was set high it would cut earlier.

bass sucks all the time compared to my 16. It’s like the sub isn’t even there

Is this using FM or Bluetooth? I know with sync 4 and Bluetooth it is using the equalizer on the paired equipment. I left Sirius out because that is a whole different subject and they have expanded cutting frequencies so it's useless for SQ.
I don't even have the Sony system or a sub and I have plenty of bass. If you are wanting that unnatural booming bass that rattles the windows you are going to have to go aftermarket. And in a few short years you won't be able to hear chit except for the ringing in your ears.
