Front Spindle

1965 Ford F100
What is the correct orientation of the front spindles. Should the spindles tilt up or down?

Unloaded they will angle downward. Be sure that you have your DJMs correct side to side as well since the caster is in the welded kingpin.

The slot in the spindle for the wheel bearing washer goes up ^^^

they would appear to be DJM dream beams, drops about 3in. I believe.

I am installing DJM 3" drop beams. The pics are just for reference, to help explain my question. The new beams are black.
I am almost done, it looks like my tire will rub on the front of the fender. I thought maybe I installed the spindle wrong, but the notch is facing up. I replaced the worn out radius arm bushings, so maybe that is causing the issue. I have 31.6" diameter tires, and they were pretty close before I started.
