I didn't see any mention of battery cables or grounds?
For giggles run a heavy-ish gauge ground directly to starter or near it. You can hold it in place (being certain all body parts and clothing are clear of any moving parts) and have a helper try to start truck. If starter comes to life, you've got a grounding issue.
You might also first make sure the starter trigger wire is actually getting a signal in the START position.
And what is battery voltage both before and during start attempts?
