Sloppy Steering
I was traveling down the freeway around 60-65 on a windy day and my steering was so sloppy that I was nervous that I could lose control. Someone could have thought that I was drunk due to the constant corrections in my steering. I promise I was not drunk, lol.
I have a 2wd 87 f250 6.9 and have a 2" body lift with a leveling kit and 9, 1/2 wide tires. I installed camber kit/sleeves for alignment (these alterations may contribute but not to the degree that im dealing with?)
I jacked up the front end of the truck a shook the wheels. There was no to very little movement. I also shook the drive shaft leading to the gear box and it move/ rattled slightly but not much. This was all while the steering wheel was locked. I replaced all the steering parts from below the pitman arm to the tie rods. I haven't taken it back on the freeway but from the feel of it doesn't seem like anything changed. Any thoughts?
