Converted from OEM LED to the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro. Had to buy the OEM halogen fogs and trim rings. Diode kit fit perfect connector and all.
I mocked up flush mounting the 18” bar in the 4x4 valence but didnt want to try and maintain the right trim all the way to the edge. I didn’t like the snowplow valence so I installed a tremor valance.
Too many expensive system integrated into the grill and I didnt want to trim it. So I flush cut the 1&” Diode Dynamics into the tremor valance. Easy to mount.
Tomorrow I will mount the Diode SS3 Pro Amber in the front. Yes I know they arent symmetrical. The drivers side has the Adaptive Speed sensor on the drivers side you can see the plastic is larger on that side.
Once I get them mounted I am going to make my Deutsch harnesses and connect to the upfitter switch leads. I have some interior stuff to wire but I hear the pass thru wires inside are stupid short and have been dreading to look
Mounted the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Amber fog and grill lights. Built a super clean stealth harness. Looks like upfitter 1-4 outputs are 12g and 5-6 are 10g. My Deutcsh kit didnt have 12g pins so I need to order them. Next up are the rear SS3 Pro and the ARB compressor
nice use of connectors. why the upfitter wires are not terminated in some sort of connector is beyond me...
The real question is why aren’t the wires be just a bit longer. At least I could find the upfitter wires. I haven’t tried finding the pass the wires. If the horror stories are true I’ll probably just run my own into the cab

Ford's been saving pennies on wire since 2010 when Upfitter switches were introduced
