2.5-2 hitch adapter
I have a 2021 f350 and it has a 3 inch hitch the reducer in it it a 2.5 but it didn’t come with the 2.5-2 inch sleeve so I ordered one from rascal part the part number is HC3Z-19H282-A and the holes do not line up with the 2.5 inch sleeve is there a different part number that I’m missing ?

The adapter I ordered has a lip and doesn’t slide in far enough

There seems to be two different lengths. My truck came with only the 2 1/2 in receiver. First reducer I got was a little cheaper one from WalMart and it was too long and hung out past the end. Ford has two part numbers for the 2 1/2 to 2inch reducer. I got the more expensive one and it fits good; twenty some $ and 30 some $. I am not sure that yours going from 3 to 2 1/2 to 2 inch will be the same though. Dealer did not know there was two but when he used the vin number it said correctly which one to use.

The correct one for mine has a lip and slides into the correct length. Yours may be the 20 some dollar one.

I have just dealt with this 2-1/2” to 2” reducer on my F350. A tight fit is good but none of the reducers have been long enough to avoid tipping down (loose fit) at the ball. Now I’m searching for a hitch clamp. These reducers should be 8-10 inches long.

I grabbed a 3" to 2"....dont want the extra adapter in there...

Why bother with the reducer? I just got a mount with a 3" shank.

I got my 2 1/2" to 2" from U-Haul and it worked perfect - no lip. Cannot, however, remember what I paid for it!
