Im looking at an 1990 f-150 with a 5.0l engine and an automatic *4x4*

it has 150,000km *90,000 miles?* kinda curious when looking at it from back to front top to bottom to look for, things like how good condition the tranny is and etc.

Any info will help, thanks

Well a good place to start is to look for leaks under the motor, transmission, transfercase, radiator, differentials. Check for leaking gas tank or tanks. Raise the front wheels off the ground if you can and check ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, axle u-joints, driveshaft u-joints and such. Look for hacked up wiring. Rust underneath the floorboards, or anywhere else for that matter. These are the things I check for, I've probably left some out though.
Good luck
