2017 tow hooks

My 2017 F150 has the most useless tow hooks on the front. Cant get hooks or chains on them. So what do you do?

I honestly don't know if it was done for looks or function? I'm guessing function? It doesn't really look better to me.

Maybe its so that when you call a tow truck, they have somewhere to attach the safety hooks / chains?

Here's mine on the "other" forum. Handier than the loops IMO, if needed, looks are up to the owner, but I do get comments on them, favorable, I think.

Yep, just loop on through the tow hook/loop and use it to connect to a tow strap or kinetic rope strap. They work great.

johnday, I like them for a couple reason. they are very light, don't rattle and clank, won't scratch the tow loops on your rig.
there still a tool I don't ever want to use. Getting stuck isn't as much fun at 52 as it was at 18.
