My dad has a 2000 F350 7.3 with a 6 inch lift and I got a 2003 F250 both four wheel drive and both diesels both leaf sprung. My dad is thinking about swapping back to a stock suspension with a leveling kit and I want to swap up to a 6 inch lift. we was talking about swapping suspensions he'd take my stock suspension with my leveling kit and I'd take his lift. Would we be able to do that swap? Just wasn't sure if it'd work because of the year and the fact that his is a 350 and mine is a 250.
That will work out just fine. Only difference will be the 350 has a Dana 50 and the newer 250 has a Dana 60. Everything is the same size and is a direct swap. You'll need to swap the track bar brackets and pitman arms also. I would get new U bolts. Mine were very rusty when I did a similar swap, and were replaced.
