Ford 9" question...
How many people have seen a 9" case without a fill plug. I am running one on my truck and there is no fill plug period. When I bolted everything up I had to dump in the fluid through the vent fitting hole. Its not a big deal, I have just never seen this before. The original case will be fitted with 4.56 gears and a full spool very soon so it doesn't worry me. Neither cases are the WAR or N type.

I have seen one before, but it was kind-of a screw up. I guess some of them have the fill in the housing and some in the center section?(I really dont know personally). Anyway- He took the center section out of one and put it in another housing, bolted it all up slid in the axles and had no way to fill it.

I hope he drilled and tapped a little plug or two in it just for satisfaction (even if he had to take it apart again to clean it out).
DANG I hate when things like that happen.
