knuckle/ABS question

Ok guys ('n gals),

Finally decided that my front end shudder must be the tiny bit of play in the driver's side ***** joints. Gonna do 'em all at the same time though. The question I have is this. Is there a major difference between the steering knuckles on a 92 and a 93? I only ask because the 93 has four-wheel ABS and GS did not. However, I had replaced all four balljoints on Greystreak about six months before the fire. I figure I've got four good ones, and I could save some time and cost if I just swapped the knuckles (balljoints and all) from one truck to the other. So, before I go tearing either one apart, how much additional or different stuff do I have to deal with if I want to do it this way? I know. I can look for myself but its gettin' chilly and the less time I have to spend "studying" the project as opposed to just DOING it, makes me happier.

Hi greystreak. You answer so many posts around here, that I just couldn't leave your own question just sit there at 0 replies!

My '94 has a hole and attachment in each spindle to mount the ABS pickup. Also a means of fastening the ABS cable to the spindle so it behaves when turning.

Keep us posted on the front end shudder resolution.

Torky,

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll end up swapping the spindles but thats relatively painless. Will let you know what comes of this situation.
