Since my '00 4.0 is playing so nice after the last go around... I thought I'd see how far down the rabbit hole I could go with my '95.
2wd 2.3l 5spd extended cab that just hit 150k.
Motor runs like a top... but it's gonna be tranny rebuild or replacement time soon.

This is "Little Green"
This ranger pulled an overloaded 6x12 tandem axle enclosed uhaul trailer 1500 miles from South Texas to North Georgia with NO WATER PUMP! It's un-killable. It just got a new bed, passenger side door (that I still need to put on) a passenger side front fender, and front clip (header panel with lights and grille). I have a new timing belt and tensioner and a set of motor mounts to put on it, and then a little something fell in my lap that is gonna find a new home under Little Green's hood.
Let's find out just how Un-killable, shall we?
That is an actual factory Ford turbo setup from a 2.3T Thunderbird. It looks krusty on the outside... but it spins and has very little play, and no fore-aft travel on the shaft.
