I currently have a 2003 F250 6.0 liter diesel. It doesn't seem to have the steering capability that I think it should. Doesn't seem tight enough. I was wondering if anyone else out there had a similar problem and if they did what was the fix. I've been to the dealer and they told me, the vendor in which they get their steering boxes from, they had a problem with. I also know the steering boxes are supposed to be pre-set from the factory, at least that is the tory I get. Let me know if you have any information on this subject.
Nothing new ... actually something about this subject was posted before, you might wanna try searching for a thread on steering. I have the same problem on my truck '03 ... I unfortunately don't have a solution for you ... someone will be along soon enough though.
Tropin,
Is your SD lifted with larger than srock tires? If so, I've noticed that when you slap bigger than stock tires on a SD they seem to want to wander more regardless of steering stabilizer size. This is just a seat-of-the-pants observation though.
