Howdy everyone

I am retired and have a 1996 F150 with the 5.0 engine, I love my truck and enjoy working on it. Trying to learn how to diagnose issues instead of just throwing parts at it. Heard from another member this was a great resource so here I am. Currently working on a no start issue, will only start if I hold gas pedal to the floor. Fuel pressure is in range at the rail so moving on from there. Hope to find some guidance and knowledge in the forums and who knows maybe someday I will be able to help someone too.

Sounds like it's flooding, like something is dumping fuel . . . ? The folks over in the "1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum can help you out.
