Give us some details on your truck, and what you've tried so far.
It’s a 2000 F250. So far I’ve replaced IPR, CPS, wif sensor, icp, batteries, I’m doing an oil change possibly this weekend if I have the time. I hooked a scanner up to it to see if there were any codes, nothing. I optioned to view the fuel being used and it would bounce to about 4.0 then drop to 0. It has 30% over split injectors on it from previous owner so I feel like it’s getting a fuel cut. Possibly need to upgrade the fuel system? I’m lost I’ve been working on this truck since November and can’t get a break.
Not to discourage you, but there is a laundry list of things that could be contributing/causing the issue you are having. So any low hanging fruit you can knock off the list is not only productive, but you might catch a break.
These rigs are particular about low pressure oil feeding the high pressure oil system. if the low pressure pump isnt cutting it, it will crank/not start until your batteries are on their knees. By "isnt cutting it", I mean filling the high pressure oil reservoir. I had this problem and after I figured it out I would make sure the reservoir was topped off. Sometimes though, it would just barely start and when this happened it really idled like crap until it managed to get to a threshold pressure and then life was good ..... until the next start. Check the level in the reservoir, it should be within an inch or so of the top (directly in front of fuel bowl, Allen wrench for the plug on top).
What scanner did you use and what exactly was the PID listed as. Not all scanners work on our trucks and even the ones that do offer several PID's that do not apply to the 7.3. Most won't register a reading but some can give ghost readings that are inaccurate or out right fabricated. What diagnostics have you done so far? That way we're not bombarding you with tips on stuff you've already done or ruled out. Be as specific as you can, the more we know the better we can help.
It's hard to find the cause without some good data, but you've eliminated a few of the typical causes. What brand ICP, CPS and IPR did you use? Recommend Motorcraft for these.
If you have not dropped the tank and performed the hutch mod to eliminate the screens and pickup foot, that would be a good next step. You can check fuel pressure pretty quick using a hose and gauge attached to the fuel bowl drain valve. Method here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...4&d=1592859516
