Ramsey were traditionally PTO style winches and warn winches were electrically driven. I can't say I've seen a ramsey bumper per say where as I've seen plenty of warn winch bumpers. Can you post a picture of it. Does your truck already have the PTO and drive shaft?
Most any winch will fit in most any winch bumper. the only thing is does it mount on it's feet and some mount in the front. if you have a foot mount you may have to beef up the floor unless the bumper was made for it.
This is Ramsey's H-600 12,000 pound pull winch they're pricey! It requires a PTO on your transmission or transfer case and a drive shaft to the winch and can only be mounted in a fixed position. Does your bumper accommodate that. I went with the receiver hitches front and rear and am making a winch cradle that can be moved to front or rear for versatility and can be moved to more than one vehicle.
The cradle allows you to move the winch to any place you have a receiver hitch.
The Warn bumper was designed for the 8274 winch. because that basically was the winch in those days it really had no serious competition. today they're worth good money from the vintage correct 4x4 folks.
That set up was also a dealer installed Ford accessory. the '79 F250 4x4 I have that my dad bought new has this set up from the dealer.
X2 on the 8274. If you really want everything to be period correct, you can find older models all over. If it's in the budget, the updated M8274 are some sweeeeet units. Modern internals, available with syth line, and capacity bumped from 8k to 10k. Got one on order for my rig
