Hello fellow Ford fans.
I hope April finds you all well.
It looks like Vegas is opening back up pretty well, lots more tourists around the resort corridor.
I've recently added to my Ford family with a 2016 E350 based class C motorhome.
It's a used rental RV but it drives great and had a good maintenance history.
Parked out at the old dried up Las Vegas bay of Lake Mead.
The wife and I plan on soaking up some of the last cooler days of the season this weekend, it'll be scorching down here before we know it.
Hey there everyone
Welcome to April (April Fools Day)
Thanks for starting this months thread & congrats on the new motorhome. Ive been a bit scrambled lately trying to finish my online EMT recertification course but finally got it done.
Well, hope everyone is well.
Man it's really warming up out there!
If you haven't used parts.ford.com before, it's actually a decent site with better prices than amazoon I.E. a Motorcraft FA1632 air filter for $15.33 vs $20.10
Right now you can make a new account to get $20 off the first order.
I had the wife pick up a heap of coolant, transmission fluid, and other consumables from Ford Country Henderson, good people there she says.
I took the motorhome out on a cruise last weekend up to Pioche Echo Canyon.
There is a nice little RV campsite up there with full hookups although the city water wasn't functioning.
I guess luckily I had to use the coach 12v water pump and it started leaking so I'm going to replace that now while I have the time.
Generator maintenance is also on the agenda and maybe other van fluids that I just got.
Howdy, everyone. I don't get around here much. I made the mistake of pulling the truck in for some project upgrades. It has sat for almost a year now. I hope to get past the delays and get back to it this fall. We will see how that goes. I hope everyone is safe and well.
Good to see you back Gembone. I know I have more projects planned than time left before it gets super hot.
I did get my coach water supply pump changed and I've been changing out fluids on the motorhome.
So far transmission and rear diff, hopefully coolant and seal some seams this weekend.
Keep on truckin'
I am getting antsy to work on the truck but have to build the funds. Should be ready by the fall. Leaving in the morning for Moab. Tagging along with a friend to Bronco Safari.
