What is this bracket?
In my 1968 f100 engine bay there is a weird bracket and I don’t know what it is for. What is this?

it's the bracket that would hold your jack in place.

Oh that makes sense! There was nothing attached to it but that makes more sense. Need to figure out a jack as Im lifted 2/5 so I dont think that would work
