Knocking noise

Hi I have a 2003 Ford f150 with the 5.4 l upon startup I have a weird knocking noise I just put a used transmission in it it wasn't doing it before that if I throttle up it seems to go away but in Idaho it's got a bad knock sounds like it's coming from the lower motor but could be from the transmission any ideas

Try to search for Ford TSB 04-20-6 and see if it relates to your issue.

Are you sure all of the flexplate bolts are tight? Could it be coming from the transmission and not the engine?
