okay, heres the deal. 1997 ford f-150. 100,000 miles on a 4.6. The truck is in very clean condition, and runs excellant. I've known the owner for years and he is meticulous about the truck. It has a 4 inch lift, with 33's. I know very little about these trucks. I know the 4.6 is a good motor, and if maintained will run forever. The price is 9.000.00 to 10,000.00. Any opinion's will be appreciated. Thanks.

That sounds pretty fair. Go to nada.com to look up the actual value of the truck in your area. Then figure in the lift and tires.

the only thing that i'm worried about really is the mileage. last vehicle i bought had 198,000 on it and now there about 20 grand in it, but it's a ford bronco so that okay.

My 98 F150 4.6L almost has 100K on it too and it still runs great. Just make sure the tranny is in good shape and that it's not slipping. I think my F150 is starting to get a little sloppy shifting gears. I'm refering to the 4 speed autos.
Sounds like a good deal though.
By the way, is it a 4X4?
