cold start problem
I had a hard time statrting my truck in the morning when it was above 70 degrees. Now that it has gotten into the 50 to 40 degree range truck starts much better. It isn't perfect but noticably better. When I checked for codes I didn't find any with either test stored or engine running. I have checked for vacum leaks using propane and water without success. I tested the fuel pressure after it sat overnight and thought it was marginal and replaced fuel regulater. I have cleaned throttle body. I have cleaned the throttle air bypass. I cleaned the EGR valve. The only thing I can think of next would be the temperature valve. i believe there is a valve taht sneses the colant temp and effects the idle rpm. I don't know the correct term,but I believe it is on the front of my 1988 302. Any ideas would be welcomed
