2022 Ford Super Duty Order Tracking Thread. Please No Off Topic
F250 CC SB Lariat 4x4 with Lariat Value and BAP with spray in liner delete
Ordered & Confirmed 3/24, priority 10
Scheduling email received 6/23
Scheduled for week of 7/25
Built notification email received 8/1, was built 7/30
First Estimated Deliver to dealer 8/12-8/18
5 push-backs later, as of 10/18 the estimated delivery to dealer was 11/10-11/16
Email from salesman yesterday 10/21, truck is at dealer! He sent me a short video as proof of life. I went by this morning on my way home from work and snuck a picture.
It is obvious to me now, that Ford Logistics really needs to be tightened up. I know there are a lot of issues with supply, shipping of supply, etc, but a completely built truck sitting at the rail yard for 77 days before moving is ridiculous. Thankfully my dealer is on top of things and much better organized.
It still needs the PDI and spray in liner done, but I’m hoping to have it by this time next week.
My truck arrived at the Kansas City rail yard on Oct 16 and then has to go on convoy to the dealer that’s 192 miles away. Delivery date was Oct 21 now pushed to Nov 9.
Whose fault is that but Ford’s? How can it take that many days to move 192 miles?
Now, because Ford contracts with seperate, independent Union transport companies to move the vehicles from the railyard to the dealers...Ford doesn't have any real control over the time it takes once shipped from Louisville.
I had to wait 22 days from Kansas City 6P railyard to dealer delivery... I agree that it's frustrating.
Not enough Transport trucks and/or drivers. Not to mention Super Duties are large enough that they can't get many on a transport truck.
Lots of opportunities for improvement on this new 'retail orders are the norm' situation.
I think the current reality: Recession, rising interest rates, stock market drop will help cool the demand for Super Duties. Plus more time for Semiconductor company adjustments to be made. Maybe a lot of these issues will work themselves out due to the above forces acting on the automotive industry.

I actually got the "shipped" notification on 8/3. I haven't gotten any other notifications except for the 5 "To ensure your complete satisfaction..." blah blah delayed emails. Status does show "Final Preparation" today, after the truck arrived at the dealer yesterday. Oddly enough, I did get the railcar number on the 17th and tracked it; its status hasn't changed since March, so that was useless. I was completely surprised when I got the notification from my salesman. I think he was surprised also.

I'm not following your above post...what is your point exactly?
That things happened???
1. "You probably hadn't heard about the fires that impacted the semi conductor supply"
Oh, you mean the Japanese Renesas fab fire in March '21? That was back to full capacity by mid-June 2021?
Didn't help things but can't blame all the drama on that one fire in one fab.
2. "nor did your realize that car haulers are only good for hauling cars"
Not sure of your point?
Here is a picture of a transport hauling a whole TWO Super Dutys. My point is the transports can not haul many Super Duties at once.
3. You're claiming many people were out sick? Is this Fords failure?
4. "...and that doesn't include the impact of the sick on suppliers, and that Ford has contracts with all that is involved in the industry of building, delivering and selling. Excessive financial market manipulation and always bringing the word "union" into your mantra? Maybe you should get a job with Ford, you'd fit right"
Please try again, I have no idea what you're trying to say.
