I will also state that if you end up going with LED's, you may (and probably will) have issues with your blinkers not working properly. You can read more about that here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ed-lights.html

I am guessing we are talking style side tail lights and not flare side lights?
If flare side you have to go after market as that is the only light that is the same size / shape / bolts up as the factory lights did.
You will need to do something with the plug as it will be different from what is on the truck.
I was lucky and had both sides of the plugs but had to make my flare side tail light harness from my style side parts truck harness.
