I6 performance parts??

Does anyone know of a good web site to get performance intakes, headers, etc. for 240/300 inlines. and also why are inlines so under carbed. a 300 is close to a 302 in CI's so why dont they put more than a 1 bbl stock on them?? does a 4bbl on a six make much difference? and what does a inline with dual exhaust headers sound like? Ive really never heard of anyone hoppn a inline up until i owned one and now I want to play a little . thanks for any info

Try "Clifford" out of Ca. They have all you need.
Dare I say JC. Whitney has an offy four barrel intake and headers and cams too.
Small carbs are best on low rev engines. Better gas mileage and more low-end torque throttle response.

more power?

Ahh so I have a 4:56 rear and a np435 I think is the tranny. I would have more torque if I stick with the one barrel. I just figured that I would get more from more fuel and air. I want torque. so would the stock setup be best for power? thanks

It is hard to feed all of the cylinders evenly when # 1 and 6 are so far away from the carb. It is also hard to feed alot of air/fule thru the log type intake. The outer cylinders run lean and the centers run rich. When they finally got around to port injection, then they run more evenly because the fuel is injected right at each cylinder instead of having to travel from the center out. Air will move alot easier than an air/fuel mixture.
