TC-2 treadle valve.

I have a 1998 F800 with air brakes. It was delivered as a straight truck, I'm adding air trailer brakes for a 20T tag. I have found several NOS TC-2 treadle valves in the ford box but they don't have the clamp with them (the U shaped piece which bolts to them to clamp to the steering column). Does anyone have the part number for this piece?

Thanks,
Tommy

In case nobody knows what a TC-2 treadle valve is, It's the hand operated air brake lever clamped to the steering column on Road tractor set-ups, or straight trucks set-up for air brake trailers.

A treadle valve is actually the application or 'foot' valve, like an E-8P or E-10P. A TC-2 is a trailer hand valve, sometimes called a 'trolley' valve by old-time truckers. Yes, a TC-2 is mounted on the steering column. I know what you need, that little cast clamp that fits around the Ford steering column. That's a Ford specific part, doubt it's still available but maybe one of the part number experts around here can give you a number to search. Shouldn't be too tough to find in a wreaking yard, I think it was used from 1980 to 1998 or so.

Yes, sorry for the grammar issue, I meant Trolley but for some reason the word treadle kept sticking in my head. Problem is we only have about two salvage yards in the area that deal in medium duty trucks and most all of their 1980-1998 stuff is pretty well picked over and nothing left or they were hydraulic brakes. Was hoping one of the part number guys would have something I could use to search with.
