Ebv delete?

Will be moving to Alaska soon but was wanting to do the ebv delete. Is it needed in cold weather??

Not necessary but beneficial.
I have deleted mine,windows will melt in high idle without EBPV.

I'd keep it for decel tune purposes, but if anybody here knows value of EBPV in cold weather it's the Fin who eats weird croissants.
