hey
have any of you used these oil filter relocation kits (just got my new summit catalog), thinking of getting the dual filter kit for more oil and so my filter isn't sideways. what do you think???

I have my filter mounted sideways and I get oil pressure real fast on a cold start. The anti-drainback valve in the filter keeps it full. The remote oil filter units seem to work just fine though.

I ordered the dual remote mount kit from Summit. I am very pleased with it. I run two big K&N oil filters in it. Makes changing the oil a little easier. Now I just need to get one of those Fumoto valve things for the drain plug and I will be set.

I started out with a std Transdapt kit.............then one unfateful day one of the cheesy hoses blew a hole. I have since replaced all with Aeroquip stainless steel hoses/fittings. Looks good, works good. Don't have to worry.
