Aux camera while in drive

Anyone know if we can update sync to be able to access trailer camera in drive? Or is it an update hearing the 21's can do it now?

Not sure if prior models can be updated, but my 2021 will display the CHMSL camera and aux camera while in motion.

does it have a timer on it or will it stay until you turn it off?

It stays on going down the road unless I shift or push another button.

How about going into reverse will it retain last view? Or always default to split screen 360 first?

It goes to split 360 and tailgate cam. I wish it would recognize the aux camera and go to it or at least split 360 and aux, but it does not.

Anyone add a second side camera to they're trailer? Thinking it would be nice to see passenger side when backing blind side instead of relying on wife Lol

Not trying to hijack this thread, but does anyone know of a system to buy if your truck didn’t come with all the cameras and you’d like to add them?

It will stay on until you come to a stop and then start moving forward again.. or until you press the cam button again. Mine goes "CMHSL Camera" -> "Customer Mount Trailer Cam" -> Infotainment on the camera button pushes. Even if there is not a trailer cam attached, I get a blue screen with the camera and line through it logo.
