So with a 1400 dollar check supposedly on its way.... I’ve been trying to come up with mod ideas for the truck. I have a 2021 CCLB XLT 7.3 that is pretty much stock except for a bed liner, cap, and dash cam. What are some mods that have made your lives easier, driving experience better, or happier ownership of these trucks? If someone gave you 1400 bucks and said you have to spend it on your truck, how would you do it?
so far I’ve come up with these possible ideas:
leather steering wheel
katzkin leather
Husky floor mats
beamtech LED bulbs
Light bar (if I could get it behind the grille)
High end light bar and husky exact floor mats. Next would be Raptor steering wheel. I wish I could put one in my 2017 but I have adaptive steering so no dice.
I scored a set of AMP steps on Craigslist for $800. Brand new. They were purchased and returned by 4 Wheel Parts and never installed. Somehow they ended up at a surplus buyer's garage. You might try to investigate something like that.
Weathertech floor mats and front window tint. That should all be easily accomplished.
