So I had to install TPMS in my custom wheels I kept off my 2006 F350. The tire shop (Les Schwab Tires) that installed them said that they couldnt program them yet to match the 2021 as the update hasnt came out yet. Anyone tried using the 2020 on a 2021? Not a big deal to drive with the dash light on but just the same

if it’s any help, I ordered TPMS sensors matching the part number for 2020+ trucks I found on the internet (it was a wide range of P/N’s).They did not sync to my truck. Had to purchase the America’s tire ones for my 2021 and pay a pretty penny for a re-install. I say something is different or I was shipped the wrong ones the first time.
So strange thing happened, they seem to have synced on their own. After installing them yesterday on the way home I was getting the warning light on the dash. Came out this morning drove to town and all four tires are registering and showing PSI
When I rotate my tires on my 2017, it picks up the change in location after driving for a short distance. That's nice. It's the first car I've owned that does that.
I just picked up my 2021 and put the display on the dash that showed the 4 tires psi's. Before leaving the hotel and 40f outside the fronts read 60 and rears 80. Lowered the rears to 65 and by the time I walked to see the display after letting the air out they showed the lower psi, nice.
Well it was fun while it lasted, they worked until they didnt. Driving home $700 richer😁😁 from the casino last night and all of a sudden the alarms sounded...lol...No Bueno
