FordPass issue

FordPass only seems to work for a couple days on my 2021 F350 before I have to delete my vehicle and do a reconnect. I used Forscan to change my sync 3 theme to a Lincoln theme. Could this be the issue?

Not likely. More likely the result that it's basically a sucky, poorly maintained app.

Make sure you check for updates. I have no issues, the app is well maintained, updated regularly, and works well!

I don't doubt you and am glad you have decent luck with it. Mine updates whenever available and it still seems to work when it feels like it. Remote start is always hit or miss in an area with ample cell phone coverage.

I've heard people with iPhones have this problem. Wondering if it is Apple's overzealousness with stuff. I personally use Android so that may be part of it

Slightly off topic, but do I need to setup ATT service with my truck to have access to FordPass? I tried to connect this morning (just bought the truck yesterday) and I was not receiving the verification message in the truck.

The Ford pass works fine for me with an Android phone. But, I don’t use it very often. Occasionally I’ll remote start my truck or check the oil life and tire pressure. Ford pass isn’t something I need.

Works great and no waiting for app to load
