Ford F150 1993 Advise

Hello guys. I recently purchased a 1993 Ford F150. Me and my father are using this truck as a restoration project and we wanted to know if you guys had any recommendations on what parts I should get and what things I should do for direct upgrades on the vehicle.First thing we are going to do is drop a manual transmission and do a little bit of upholstery work to make it look nice. I will post pictures of the truck now and throughout the restoration project so I would really like you guys to give any opinions and expertise .

Truck looks pretty good as-is except maybe a bit under tired and wheel offset is a bit much. Is that a body lift or spring lift?

What engine is in the truck right now?

That is a nice looking truck as is. I would agree with tucking the wheels under a bit though. If it seems like it need too much work send it up here to NY, I could take it off your hands. LOL

Well I only took quick glance at the truck and bought it without doing much research. I believe the truck has a leveling kit. I will get back to you as far as what engine is inside.

I don't mind that trucks stance but I agree the wheels are a bit much, although they don't look nearly as goofy on it as the trucks I see rolling around here. Picture the same tire and wheel package on a modern truck, the whole tire width sits outside the fenders.

Anyway.. that one looks like it's in good shape.

Truck looks terrific the way it sits. I can't see doing anything else to it...except enjoy driving it!

Check ball joints and such, to make sure everything is tight, and maybe have alignment, checked, just to be sure you have an idea where its at now. Nice, clean looking truck, enjoy it.
