I have my eye on two 2021 F-150 Platinum Hybrids. One is Agate black with the black interior and the other is Star White with the Carmelo interior. Both are spec'd pretty much the same except the Agate black Platinum has max recline seats and the partitioned folding storage. I'm looking for input from others who own these exterior and interior colors since I haven't seen either in person. None of the dealerships with an hour of me ever carry Platinum or Limited trims. Also, looking for feedback on the max recline seats (are the worth it?) and the folding storage. Any input is appreciated and I hope I'm driving one of these very soon.
A reviewer on youtube said he didn't see much difference between the full recline vs normal recline but then he wasn't trying to sleep. If you plan on sleeping once in a while in the truck then maybe they're worth it.
Exterior/interior colors are just personal preferences where some people prefer only black ext whereas I don't like black at all and prefer white. I live in Florida and wouldn't want black due to sun and heat and would prefer a carmelo interior. Also, what engine options are they?
Despite my username I am all about the white. I had a black truck, it was the only black vehicle that I have ever owned and it will remain the only black vehicle I have ever owned. I’m in Florida. We were going to order another 250 7.3 gasser, Star White with the Camel interior. Off topic but a friend of mine bought a 25’ offshore center console boat and he has a F150 with the 3.5 EB. I saw how happy he was towing that size boat I got to looking at the tow specs. Then I bought the Star White F150 with the Baja Tan interior and Max tow because I’m only towing the same size boat. Best move I could make.

I’m a huge fan of white. Most of the vehicles I’ve owned over the years have been white. I’m currently also shopping for a 21 platinum F150 but opted not to even consider the white because I don’t want another white vehicle with black interior and I can’t stand the Carmelo interior. Just not a fan of that shade of tan at all. So I’m going for Antimatter which is an amazing color that looks black in different light. It will have black interior. Best of luck.
Anything but white or red..... I find it amazing that Ford even limits your paint choice depending on trim level. Looks like the higher up the ladder you go the more limited the options are. Now that IMO is pretty damn stupid. I can understand certain options not being available on certain trim levels, but paint? You have the most paint options with the Lariat. Even a XLT has more choices than a Plati.
