Question need opinions

after the first of the year iam going to buy a set of nasty mud tires i have decided on the size of 40x17x15 but i dont know weither i want to go with the bias ground hawgs or the bias gumbo mudders i have a set of ground hawgs 40x17x15 now with 1/2 tread but i havent had anything i could run them on so i dont know which tires i would like they are pretty close in price so that isnt really an issue does anyone have any opinons on these tires???...thanks

If you want nasty mud tires, get Boggers. Otherwise, the Hawgs would be my choice of the two options you mentioned.

iam not to partial to boggers they are good dont get me wrong but they're life expectancy is short. thats why i want to go with a bias tire ie: ground hawg or gumbo mudder. if i was to go with the boggers i would shave every other lug to make the tire paddle like and then i would get even less wear out of them....thanks for the opinion though.

Those tires are gonna be real noisy i personally run TSL SX's and theyre great.

I have had both the Gumbo mudders and the Ground hawgs, I like the Gumbos better.

I run Boggers on the back, and Gumbos on the front of my truck.

is that really only 2'' of lift? about how much fender trimming is that?

I figured I trimmed the fenders about 3 inches or so. The lift might be 3 inches...I have never measured it, I guessed when I wrote that.

My brother has a 3" or 4" superlift suspension on his 79 bronco and he sits higher than I do.
