Is there a way to track my pickup as it is transported by train?

Find out the rail car number and the rail line from your dealer or someone that has access to Ford’s vehicle visibility system. If you look at the first few pages of the order tracking thread there is info how to track for different rail lines. They are all call in automated systems. I tracked mine last week on Norfolk Southern.
