E4OD MLPS Quality?
I have a 1979 F-350 that I changed from a C6 to an E4OD about 2-1/2 years ago. The transmission works fine but my MLPS has already had a problem. It won't turn on the back up lights when in reverse. Today I checked it all out; I can place a jumper in the switch connection and the back up lights come on bright. The switch was a new one that I bought when I built the transmission. I was wondering if this is a problem area or is it just because I used an aftermarket switch? I have the improved version for pre 1997. My core transmission was a 1990 orginally.
