I see them for the 2017 - 2019 tailgate, but not the 2021 SD tailgate. I sent a message to tufskinz to see if they have a tailgate set for a 2021.
Thanks!

I see that. I didn’t buy the tailgate inserts, but did buy the hood ones. It’s odd the hood inserts say ‘17-‘22, but the tailgate ones say ‘17-‘19. I don’t think the tailgate has changed. Let us know what they say.
Thanks!

If you decide to order from them, I have a 10% coupon code you can have. You can PM me for it.

The tailgate changed in 2020. 2019 had recessed letters and they stand proud of the tailgate on 20 and up.

The tailgate did change. On my 2021, the letter stampings are "outties" where the previous are "innies". 😛 (I wish they would have stuck with the inward stamp like the hood cause it seems more likely to hold up to washing, etc.) So far my decal ones are OK, but I am careful not to push too hard with the wash mitt.

Ah, I never noticed the innie versus outie thing. I wonder why they changed it.
Thinking about ordering the Super Duty decal for my tailgate. Would you buy them again and how do they hold up? Any pointers on install appreciated.
Thanks!
still as good as they day they were put on. 27k mikes later there has been no change.
don’t have any reason to believe they won’t stay this way for the entirety of the time I own this truck. If they do for some reason fail then I’ll peel off and re apply a new set no line the look they give the truck.
I cleaned the entire tailgate the sprayed dish soap/water mix on both the tailgate and the actual letter themselves. It made it so they slid around to get the aligned. Have it some time and by the next day they were adhered to the paint and all bubbles dried out and the letter were smooth. Was very easy.
Here is the reply I received from Tufskinz today -
The lettering design for the newer 2021+ Super Duty models has changed from the previous years to where the tailgate now has embossed(letters that already stick out) rather than debossed(stamped in). Our team has the design for the Tailgate “SUPER DUTY” letters but now they’ll need to go through Ford’s approval process before we can offer them for sale. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA on when this time may be. Please check back in the near future for another update if they are not yet available on our website.Thank you,
At Jeffn777 suggestion I tried TVD and here is the end result. They look like they were put on at the factory and leaves you wondering why the weren't. About $12 plus shipping. About a week via USPS. The instructions (online at TVD) state NOT to peel the stickers off the backing using a sharp object but use masking tape instead. I found masking tape didn't work so I bent the paper sharply and used my thumbnail. Worked great. You have about 2 minutes working time for each letter, which is plenty. Do the work in cool shade and then park in the sun to dry. Easy.
