Have you checked what timing is set at, with him, swapping in new heads, maybe he got timing off also, while you check fuel pressure, and yes firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, and that is counter clockwise, and passenger side is cylinders 1-2-3-4, driver side is 5-6-7-8, just to make sure.

how do you check timing I thought that they were automatic. The long block was redone by a machine shop so I think that the distributer was just installed wrong. It’s a cheap aftermarket parts store one too so I’m sure it doesn’t help. How do I check the timing and what risks are involved with changing the distributor. Also, is there a way to check each injector is working properly?
