power steering pump replacement
Help! I need to replace my power steering pump on my 94 Aerostar. Has anyone perfomed this task before? It appears that the pulley has to come off the pump before it can be removed from the engine. Any tips?

I have belt squeak and chirpping from the pwr steering pump. I had previous problems and tried to remove the pulley using "improvised tooling" . I later discovered the belt had split causing the noise, BUT in the process of trying to remove the pulley with the wrong tools I might have bent the shaft. I used to have noise only when cold, now I have the noise all the time!
