Proportioning Valve
I'm tired of having just front brakes, been that way for 1 1/2 years now. I took it to a mechanic when i got it and told him to change the brake shoes/pads all around and he did and told me that my proportioning valve was stuck and dont worry about it, but now im worrying cause id like better brakes. This part is virtually a legend since nobody seems to carry it so i thought id get one off an old truck, but chances are that one will be bad also. Any Ideas guys? its the plain old power brake disc front drum back setup

Most of the junkyards I go to around here let them go for pretty cheap. I picked up 5 at once last time and checked them all when I got home. All work perfectly, just needed some cleaning and lubing. Got them for $10 a piece. It'll be a cold day in Chevy Hell before I buy something at dealer price,,, Blah
