Got a quick question for everyone. We need to pickup our daughters new Bronco Sport.
They are really tuff to find but we located the exact unit and got a fair price in Wyoming.
We need transport it to Northern CA.
Any suggestions for a motor transport?

I had a friend get his GMC 2500 HD years ago from CA shipped to NC for less than $1000 I believe. Can’t remember who he used.

She was lucky to find one as there is zero inventory locally because orders are absorbing all production on the new Broncos.

Yup we jumped right on it - It was one of the display models sent out by Ford - loaded Outer Banks with the Tent setup. Its avail for sale first part of March. It appears they are sold out including the ones to be built.

My only warning is to beware of brokers. They'll promise everything to get the load. But they usually do not own any transport rigs themselves. They give you X price to transport your vehicle and then put the load up on internet "boards" and look for a low bidding trucker to maximize their profit. Meanwhile your unit could be sitting in a broker's yard while they wait for a trucker to bid low enough.
Went down this road trying to get an old F 250 from Washington state to northern NY state. I was all of 5-6 weeks getting the truck. The whole experience sucked.

Road trip, rent a trailer in Wyoming for one way and bring it home yourself.

This ^^^. We moved two vehicles from FL to NV and this happened to one. At this end, they dropped a chain hook off the second deck through the trunk lid. We then found out about the exclusions in the shipper insurance and our insurance coverage. Short version, the above is correct; read your insurance docs and understand the coverages and who pays first, and...I'd go get it myself if it was me, especially now with the weather.COVID drama.

Why not fly to Wyoming and drive it back? I know flying sucks now more than usual, but that way you don't have to worry about the scenarios described above. I bought my '18 from a dealer in North Carolina. Wife & I flew to Raleigh and drove it back. At least you know it's not getting screwed up. I don't know about you, but if anybody's going to be farting and doing who-knows-what in my new truck, it's going to be me. Road trip indeed!

Talk to the selling dealer. A few years back I bought a Mustang GT from a dealer about 700 miles from my house. Asking the dealer about transportation we came up with the idea to rent a one way car hauler trailer and the dealer took the rental cost off of the selling price. In reality, he picked up the cost of the one way rental.
And some way some how I would do the road trip rather than have it transported.

I did the same thing. Found the truck I wanted in Wyoming. The only other one was in Florida- way to far. I flew into the local airport, the salesman picked me up from the airport in my truck. Couple hours later I was on the way back to Southern Calif. I did the drive as one continuous trip. Really was not a bad drive and got to try and compare different modes and settings. The dealer did tell me that they could have arranged to have the truck transferred to a local dealer for a price. I was not interested so I never got a price. If I remember right, my drive was about 850 miles in 15 hours. If your in Northern Calif it would be a lot less.
