Well replaced, Washer pump inside the resevoir, still not getting fluid to my winshield, also blew into my lines with little effort and got fluid to come out onto my windshield, also pushed in Multfunction switch on column while having washer pump still connected and did not get any power to the pump. Heard clicking noise coming from Window Module behind glove box and assume if its clicking when I push in my switch that it must be working properly, am I correct or does my Window Module need replaced? Any help would be appreaciated. Thanx.
I suggest temporarily running wires from the pump straight to the battery. IF the pump runs, then you know the problem is in the switch/wiring. If it doesn't run, then replace the pump. You could use a test light to see if you are getting juice to the pump.
I had the EXACT same problem last year. I could hear the relay clicking, and even after replacing the pump, still no fluid. Ended up replacing the plug that goes into the washer pump. The wires were routed with too sharp of a bend, and they broke. Try that. 10 bucks at the dealership (steep) for the connector. Soldered in, and all is well.
Will try the plug connection replacement, looks like a red wire is broke off, but the connection still has two wires to the plug. Almost looks like the plug has been replaced before. Thanx for info.
Bingo, the plug that connects to the back of the washer pump, went bad, cut it off and used a couple of metal connectors and it works again. Thanx for the help.
