Newbie

I have a 2000 5.4 v8 triton engine f150 and I am trying to learn all and everything I can about my vehicle. Problems and solutions, I have two vehicles and always something going on with one of them. Mechanics are too pricey and I’m here to learn a lot of do it myself stuff.

Buy some tools at harbor freight and start wrenching. This forum and youtube are great resources.

2V triton is easy to deal with, and my previous trucks all had 350 chevy motors.

On a long trip, carry a spare alternator.
