Stand alone CP3 or a supplement to the CP4.2? Is the stand alone conversion even doable?

Standalone, anything is doable. Even redesigning the CP4 to have the longevity of the CP3 is a possibility.

Might cost more than the whole truck is worth, but what’s money when piece of mind is at stake!

Build it, test it, prove it's reliable and we will buy it.

Keep us posted.

a mod to key the bearing cup so it doesn’t rotate would be good for starters

Anyone wonder why BOSCH hasn't added this fix? What are the challenges to get this done?

With this being such a potential issue I have to wonder why Bosch hasn’t redesigned their pumps to eliminate the catastrophic breakdown. Clearly they have the engineering and manufacturing capabilities....

Exactly! Why would they care Ford continues to purchase those pumps for every new 6.7 and the higher the number of failed pumps is good for business if your Bosch.

If Bosch built a pump that listed the life of the engine they would be reducing their profits. Until there is tough competition Bosch most likely won't change.

Gen 3, HO 6.7, does it allready have a cp4 Disaster prev, Kit? or even need one?

Does the Gen3 Platinum/Limited 2024 with 6.7 HO turbo, have the cp4 fuel injector pump? and if so, wouldn't the HO already have a cp4 disaster prevent kit of some type built into it?
