I hope this is an appropriate place to put this! I'm trying to see if I could get some input on what my truck is worth. Haven't decided to sell just yet, especially if it doesn't hold as much value as I would like for it. Thanks for any and all input, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
77 f100 on an 08 crownvic police interceptor drivetrain. Does have the crownvic dash and steering column.
The good:
130k miles
Cerbinator wing
Slotted and drilled rotors w/ powder coated calipers
2020 gt500 replica wheels (20x8.5/20x10's)
Oracle headlights
new tint
Double din Bluetooth radio in crownvic dash
rebuilt and color change(red) speedo cluster
new tailight lenses and marker lights
new hood latch and hinges
Crownvic heating and air
The bad:
I made zero of these welds. They're strong and I've put plenty of miles on this truck up and down i20 cruising at 80 mph. But some of the welds are a bit sloppy. Especially where the cab meets the crownvic floor. Very rat roddy(never really bothered me)
The rear wheels scrape from time to time. Its an unbelievablly fit for the 20x10's. An older model crownvic rearend will bolt right in and give you an inch or so on both sides, just haven't gotten around to it.
The exhaust is just cut off past the headers. I have plans of get some custom exhaust done if o end up keeping it.
Temp gauge on cluster came back from the repair shop not working.. have not further diagnosed..
No wipers
Really needs new weatherstripping, has a small leak on both sides if it pours out.
Bed is not finished, just cut to fit the vic.
That's about it, thank you for reading and all feedback is welcome!
How is the body mounted? Does the suspension raise and lower so you can slam it when parkerd? To me in all the pics it looks like the box body lines flow down to back of cab, and that cab bodyline tilts up to front fenders, and that front fenders tilt down to front grill? Almost like maybe the cab is level but the rear of box is up 1 and 1/4 inch from back of cab, and that the front fenders are down about 3/4 of an inch?
I havent seen any crown vic swap trucks selling up here, but I have seen very nice shiny, and very patina-ed, and just rat rod stock, 2WDs selling in 5000 to 10000 (or more) in CAN dollars here if they are running driving with registration.
Post some pictures of the interior where the dash where the f100 cab meets the dash/firewall. Most have that weird 2 -3" rise from dash to windshield that a lot of people consider a deal breaker. I'm doing the same thing to a 71 F100 and am trying to figure out a way around this.

It was definitely not the way I would've liked to have done it. It's actually welded to the Frame of the crownvic itself. The bed is bolted to the cab of the truck and needs to be adjusted as you pointed out! The cab needs to be adjusted first to the fenders then the bed to the cab. Its a very rat rod way of doing things. That being said, it actually rides surprisingly well.

I can take pictures of it tomorrow, but it's exactly what you're thinking. That's why I prefer using the f100 dash. It's cleaner and you don't have that ginormous gap. This one doesn't look awful bc it's not a show truck by any stretch. I'll post some up tomorrow

When researching one of my 71 builds that will be similar to this, I found a few details that had a lot to do with the value of the truck. I already mentioned the dash to windshield “rise”, gap. Another was how the hump in the bed was covered. The other was leg room with the crown Vic dash/column.
I saw some pictures somewhere on the net of a 67 (same as my 71) that had the Vic dash/column where the windshield was down flush with the dash and looked nice. It wasn’t just a filler strip either. I found it’s the little things that really affect the value.

if you ever come across photos of that truck I'd love to see how they did the dash. Even just pictures. I'm legs deep in a 73 conversion now, but keeping the f100 dash this time. Good point on the bed too. The bed was hacked hacked to make work. Cut way too much. Theirs enough to build back but not the route this 73 is gonna take at all. I'll still get those pics this evening after my shift

This is not my Truck, just one I had saved pictures of.
This is one with a cleaner look to the dash. Still had a gap that was filled but not the large step up to the windshield like others such as the last picture I posted. Notice along the passengers side where the dash meets the windshield you can get see that there’s nearly no rise.
Notice passengers side to see there is no large step up to windshield Same truck I believe this is the same truck. A bit low for my taste.
A different truck, also not mine. This one is a deal breaker to me. I can’t imagine trying drive it with the windshield higher like that, lol.
I could see a well built, "in process" truck going in the 5-8K range. This is an admittedly hacked together truck and it shows. 3-4K truck imo. I'd love to see some pics of the fabrication work.
